Response to Finwaell,

It is a shame that Chrstendom has tarnished people's views of Jesus. Jesus didn't set up a system of religion, He established a celestial Kingdom which He rules from the heavenly realms. Sadly, man got his grubby little controlling hands on Christ's name and made his own mess, which is what most people think is the church. Thank God that He is rectifying the situation by establishing His Kingdom throughout the earth in a fuller measure, which will expose the man made, man driven, crook kingdom of Christendom as what it is: a counterfeit.

As for your paganism, I think it's a shame that true Christianity has not encountered your life, and so you are left searching the dark, empty realms of demonic false religion. This idolatrous worship of the created rather than the Creator has its end in vanity. I say created because when you worship and serve pagan gods, you are worshiping the demons that have falsely established them. These demons are fallen angels which were created by God to worship and serve Him. They now draw people away from God to worship them.

What it really comes down to is, man wants to rule himself, doing his own thing. That flies in the face of the Holy God, the only one who created all, the only one who ha made a way to escape sin and death. Jesus is the only name which can make people right with God.

Your paganism may be nice now, but its path leads to hell. Your paganism may make you feel a little more fulfilled and a little less lost, but it will never fill your soul sufficiently, and it will make far more olst than when you begun.

Jesus love to ya,

Bretto

I have too found my inner peace.. in paganism in its truest spiritual form, not some man made institution and man made rules, from man written book (not saying some of them are nice ways to get around with people, but they have been here before)
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to insult, just express my opinion, so please do likewise (I have really bad experience with this - Christians do not tend to be very tolerant to anyone outside their "Christendom" - and that is a historical fact -----> Anger> Love)
Gods be with you:)

I think the hardest thing for me, when relating to those who persist in their support of the systems of man, is avoiding argument and the loveless manifestations that seem often to attend argument.

Knowing where valid discussion and declaration of truth leaves off, and unhealthy argument begins, is often a fine line and difficult to discern in time to avoid violating love.

Respecting the timings of God, for bringing bound souls out of these systems, is often intensely difficult. Remembering how long it took me to finally respond to His woeing of my own heart, is so necessary when dialoguing with those who haven't yet seen it, or aren't ready to respond to His call.

These fine line distinctions and movements of love and wisdom all too often escape me, at my present level of maturity, and I long for a greater work of His Spirit to know what and when to speak. The passion I feel for the reformation He is obviously making must be equally tempered by proper restraints of love and wisdom.

Thanks for your excellent admonitions! Received!

Response to Damo,

Yes, it is true that "anything involving man is going to be flawed" but it seems that your implication is that because of this fact, let's just be as wrong as we like. For example you said: "Regardless of the size, forum and format of any church, so long as this is preached, taught, desicipled and lived out, God will have His way - despite the shortcomings of man." Just because God has graciously worked around our shortcommings doesn't mean we should set up camp, not moving forward into something better and more biblical than what we've settled for. Yes, God has worked (in a very limited fashion) through named congregations (denominations) and other HUMAN constructs; and even amongst people who set themselves under non-biblical leadership positions. However, we ought to obey God rather than man. It is, after all, God Himself who is Love, not user friendly status-quo keeping.

I Love the church, yes, even those cloaked in the foul garments of Christendom... I Love them enough to speak biblically and prophetically of something better than man's best: God's best.

Peace

It is true, anything invplving man is going to be flawed! My prayer is simply that we all remain motivated by the Love of God;
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
The Good News is that we have undeserved and uhnmerited favour with the Almighty God through the action of love carried out by His Son, at the cost of being forsaken from God the Father, Jesus loved and laid down His live that we might have relationship with the Father. Regardless of the size, forum and format of any church, so long as this is preached, taught, desicipled and lived out, God will have His way - despite the shortcomings of man. For God is God. Keep the Love

I was just reading this morning in 1 Corinthians 10: 'not to giving offence to Jews, Gentiles or the church of GOD', then subsiquently looking, even comtemplating my own journey from living and serving within a contained, controlled nearlly manipulated Church environment to my current journey to a liberty, freedom and confidence again within a biblical community and family. Sometimes i find myself looking for a scapegoat to justify my hurt and the slaps in the face i have had along to way to where I am now.

More and more i am aware that people respond from the perpective and situation they are in, example: if their eyes are closed their eyes are really closed, if they dont get it they really dont get and some would even represent their thoughts and response with a slap in the face, rejection of rebuke. I have struggled with this and GOD is working on my heart and revealling in me sometimes there are casualties on the way to GOD meeting people and setting them free with HIS truth and as I learn the lesson to die to self my self could and will become a casullity.

Im learning to seek love in every situation, a hard lesson in the midst of GOD revealling HIMSELF more and how i feel and concieve HIS BRIDE could look. Some people cannot move from the place where they are and some will not even lift their eyes from where they are. Im learning thats okay for them. My personal passion of reformation or the reforming of the church to what I believe GOD wants, to my frustration becomes a secondary priority but to love my brother being number one.

To love them regardless, let my self get smashed in the process of encouraging and helping others in their journey to find GOD in a new and 'more' way, away from the current methodoligy of some Churches ( careful not to bring offence to the Church of GOD ) that seek to box and contain people as a measure of the success of the church: example more people and more money the more successful the church is ( See Revelation 2 - 3 regarding GODs comments of this situation).

Im learning to seek love in every situation. It goes against my self but its the journey of less of me and more of GOD as per John 3:30.

I love your writing my great mate and revivalist ( remember that ) and love how its concluded by the encouragement to love those that are there and those that are yet to be there. Love concors all.

GOD bless you.

'Passion' has been defined as a combination of Love and Anger. And Love is greater than Anger, since the Anger only exists as a servant to the Love.

And we must show at all times our Love, though not always our Anger.

Before I came to Christ I was Angry, but knew no Love.

And now that I have found Love, will I then return to a Love-less place and again make Anger my crown? How pathetic

I've no time for a fool who remembers his brothers in slander, yet forgets them in his prayers......................well said, Bretto
