Myanmar (Burma) Trip

A few of us are going to Myanmar (Burma) in February/March to speak with church leaders in various parts of the country about the Kingdom of Christ and the current, ongoing reformation of His church. Myanmar is a very spiritual place, being about 89% Buddhist, and they are in desperate need of our King of kings’ saving grace. There is much oppression, poverty and political unrest in the country, and the churches are fairly stagnant, despite the fact that there are many wonderful Christians there. Traditional church and systemic sanctuaries make even less sense there than they do in the West. Real New Testament underground community would flourish throughout the country… if given the chance.
It has been ten years since I have ministered over there and I am really feeling God’s heart for the nation right now. He is moving to release the church in Myanmar from the traditions of men into the fullness of Christ. Like us, they believe God for His reviving presence and for Christ to set the captives free, but, like us, they need a good season of reformation before they will see the fruit of the Kingdom significantly. Due to the political situation over there I am very limited in what I can share online; I will not even mention names of people from Myanmar, or people who are going on the trip.
Anyone who believes it is a worthy cause for us to work with our brothers and sisters in Myanmar, helping them break free from Dark Age structures and spiritual strongholds, please pray as the Lord leads. If you wish to contribute financially to the February trip or the ongoing gospel work in Myanmar, you can either donate here: http://www.christisall.org/financial-support/ or send an email to mail@christisall.org. We are in the process of starting another bank account specifically for the work in Myanmar, but, in the mean time, if you donate through the normal www.christisall.org financial support page (mark your donation Myanmar mission) it will be used for those purposes.
Grace and peace
