Can I identify with that article...!!! The flesh is like a pampered child. It is willing to allow for consecration to Christ, just so long as it is applauded and appreciated, but starve it of these things and it will seek to upset the entire emotional balance of one's life. The trick is knowing whether you are not applauded because you are lacking in the attributes of Christ, and thus duly suffering relationally for it, or growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ in the very places where so many are complacent and happy with their status quo. I suppose ultimately only Jesus knows. As we have talked here often, learning to rest in obscurity is no small challenge. T. Austin has helped once again... Hidden in His Quiver... Tom Whew! I am really like major out in my region. I was just asking the Lord about being alone and where is the corporate setting for me??? I died to the religious in my area, don't fit in anywhere, have offended men by not doing it the "big way" have no need of it all. Have faced much rejection, and the big fears me. Spreads warnings about us (my husband and I) to other ministries in the area. We are going to try another church where it all will be exposed again. I feel sorry for these who so think they have it together. We will have to answer to a Holy God how we have loved??? there fear prayers against us seem to seperaste us from those we are really called to walk with. We will bow down before the Lord alone! Yet the Lord is in the midst of my home, worship and intercession. He consumes me and heals my heart from what men think they can do. I am going with Him. I am no longer moved by men even myself.
