Really good article.

Got nothing of great insight to add...

I think this says it all.... They are acting like "worldly CEOs, they build the biggest and best companies (“churches”) "

Money is the love, Christianity has become a swear word, and Jesus cops the flack for all of the misrepresentations of himself.

When the love of money lays foundations the thing is sure to rot. Or even one step further... When our own agenda's lay the foundation...

The beauty of all this is that we are ALL responsible for our own actions and I pray Jesus would grant us the humility to see when we are behaving out of that innate fleshly instinct of humanistic/hedonistic desire... something of which we all struggle with daily.

Some day's there is a little CEO in all of us... even if our motivation is not simply money.

Lord, Thanks for Grace. It helps me see better.

Ahhh.... the 'Kingdom minded generation'( spoken with a well rehersed husky voice). Unfortunately an entire generation has been cultured to embrace the kingdom, its just not the Lords Kingdom. The funny thing about John the baptist, Stephen, Paul and many others was that they never deliberately set out to be outcasts of society. But rather had this status thrust upon them When the world and its views came into direct conflict with Gods Kingdom. I feel that in all our efforts to hand create this 'counterculture' known now as the modern church We have run out of ideas of how to compete with the spirit of the world for the affections of the lost,(never realising that we also compete with God) resulting in a blurring of the lines seperating Righteousness from sin. New converts ( i use the term converts loosly)Are being taught from pulpits to seek first kingdom like fruits, rather than the Kingdom itself. Adding more to the snowball of results based christendom. Regression is the Key! The less you have to lose the easier it is to die. Zech 2:2-7. Soooo amped!

Response ti GiGi,

Hey GiGi,

Have you read Heaven's Underground Blueprint yet? Have you read it twice? Many crew have said that they really got it on the second read through. There's some pretty heavy gear in there, so it pays to read through a couple of times. I believe HUB not only identifies where we've strayed, but also, how to come back to biblical roots. It points towards a life in the Spirit of Christ rather than man's religion.

Alternatively, we can catch up for a chat/ Bible study...

peace,

Bretto

I only understand the 'what we're doing wrong' part, but for me, i know i need to "how to fix it" part and that is my main struggle.

When will we see change? When I take responsibility upon myself to let it begin with me...renewing my mind to the Truth, believing in the One who resides within me to live His life thru me, spending time with the Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me what actually happened when I was translated from the darkness into the Light.

Reminds me of Leonard Ravenhill's quip: "The church used to be a "lightning bolt"; but now it's a cruise ship. We are not marching to Zion, we are sailing there with ease". Terrie
