John and Jesus preached “repent” to Israel, then-

Mark 16:15 Jesus said to “go into the world and preach the good news.” (God’s time)

But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
